90% of our staff have attended several training courses on Natural Maternity Care. They have been provided with an introduction to what Natural Maternity Care entails.

Warmth Care in Natural Neonatal Care

Our maternity nurse aides have attended a training course on “Warmth Care in Natural Neonatal Care” where they have been able to learn about how warmth contributes to the safety of a newborn. They have skills that provide extra support for the baby and the maternity nurse aide. For example, changing without losing warmth and without your baby crying, becoming frightened, or losing energy. Using a swaddle to support the thermoregulating system of your child, using natural clothing such as a bonnet, and learning about and caring for materials such as wool and silk.

Cramp and Relaxation in Natural Neonatal Care

They have also attended the “Cramp and Relaxation in Natural Neonatal Care” course to learn about the skills to learn skills to help you and your baby avoid getting cramps.

Good Sleep

The “Good Sleep” training was also completed to delve deeper into the sleep rhythms and sleep patterns of you and your baby and how to practically start building a sleep and wake rhythm. After all, rhythms are the basis for good health and recovery.
